What’s a Gothic Blackletter like?
Beginning as a script used in Western Europe since 11th century, it turned out to be a peculiar gothic typeface
since 16th century.
Gutenberg’s first Bible was printed employing Textura, a Gothic Script version, making it the very first font used worldwide.
It resembles manuscript writing style and since its sharp shape and stroke it’s quite difficult to read
although it’s very elegant.
